Your Zone1Energy User ID automatically identifies your computer - but not you - to our servers when you visit Zone1Energy. If you use a link to visit the site of another company, we cannot be responsible for the privacy practices or the content of that company or its site.

Customer Password

If you become a Zone1Energy customer, you will log into your account portal by using the email and password that you set up on your profile. For your protection, you must be very careful with this log in information and ensure that it remains private. You are encouraged to set up a password that is not obvious, and it is strongly recommended that you change your password several times a year.

Safeguarding Customer Information

Access to nonpublic personal information about you (such as your name, address) is granted only to company employees and used only for the purposes of providing you with the products and services you requested.

Our Code of Conduct requires that your information remain confidential. Even if you are no longer our customer, we will continue to treat your nonpublic personal information in the same way as if you were still a customer. In addition, we maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard this personal information. Some state laws may further restrict the sharing of your nonpublic personal information.

Collection of Information

We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

• From you, on forms, via the Internet, by telephone or otherwise. Examples of this type of information include your name, address, telephone number and e-mail.
• If you check to determine if your account is eligible for service with Zone1Energy, account information with the utility will be accessed, but not saved, in order to make this determination.
• If you enroll with Zone1Energy, from the various utilities that service your account(s).

Uses of Shared Information

We will only share information that we collect, as described above, with your utility in order to process the enrollment of your account(s), or with any government agency as required by law. In no way whatsoever will any of your information be sold to any third party.

Sales Agents and Affinity Programs

If you are signed up through an Affinity Program or Sales Agent, they will be informed only about the enrollment status of your account(s).
